30 x 15 inches Oil on linen
$3600.

Siblings make us stronger. From a very young age mule deer fawns will begin to spar and push each others limits. Having grown up with four siblings I can say from personal experience that the sibling relationship is a very valuable one. Whether it's sparring and strengthening you for future battles or supporting you through them the sibling relationship is an important one. "A Brother for Adversity"
is a contemplation of that relationship.
Three is a Crowd
20 x 24 inches Oil on linen panel.
(Arctic Foxes)
These little animals have such a happy demeanor it is hard not to love them after any time observing them. Even when left out of the fun the third kit quickly found ways to make the best of it and just made himself that much more endearing.

Hidden Ones
30 x 48 inches. Oil on linen. (Grizzly Bears) $11500.
There is a famous grizzly mama in Teton National Park tagged 399 that recently had four cubs in one litter and successfully brought all four to maturity. Some have thought she was so successful in part because she kept them close to public areas on the edge of the wilderness, closer to human activity then many of the male bears and other threats to her cubs were willing to abide. Effectively hiding them from harm.
While this is not a portrait of 399 it was partially inspired by her and it is a reflection on the God given, protective, nurturing spirit of mothers.

Glimmer and Gold
11 x 14 oil on panel (Golden Trout)
Being an avid fisherman and an avid oil painter I naturally feel that combining these two passions is a great idea. This was a depiction of a Golden Trout I caught in one of my favorite places on earth, the Wind River Range, Wyoming.
